Who We Are

A stand up comedian for over 2 decades, Marty DeRosa is Executive Director and teaches classes on finding your voice, finding ease onstage, and bringing the best ideas to fullness. He has taught at The Second City, The Lincoln Lodge, and is a founding member of Comedians You Should Know in Chicago. When he is not enjoying watching pro wrestling on his Wisconsin basement bar tv, Marty enjoys landscaping, a cortado at Mocha Moment, and spending time with friends, family, neighbors, plus his wife, cats, and dog here in the heart of Janesville.

A writer, illustrator, musical improviser, Sarah brings an open heart to the teachings of art and comedy. After performing with The Second City, Deep Schwa, and Voila: The Improvised Musical, she taught music improv at iO Chicago and now performs with Big Binky & The Banana Boys at The Comedy Cabin in Janesville. She specializes in using art to express emotion and helping students find a voice to sing that is uniquely their own. 

Buddy is a cavachon pooch who loves babies, dogs, and pretty much every human he meets and hopes to join as many classes as he can to meet some new kids who want to play.
